On Saturday, August 8th, we will gather at the Irish Famine Memorial on South Front Street and Chestnut Street around noon. After a short ceremony, we will walk to the 2nd Story Brewing Company a block away at the corner of 2nd & Chestnut Streets. 2nd Story is a family friendly farm to table restaurant. They will brew a McGeady beer for us as part of our celebration. This brew pub is in the heart of the historic district of Philadelphia, 2 blocks from Penn’s Landing, the center of summer outdoor activities. The party is from 1:00-5:00.
